The interior of this three-story residence is a direct continuation of its architectural shell, moving away from decorative excess toward a "monolithic" and "brutalist-lite" aesthetic. We utilized a monochromatic palette of raw concrete and dark wood to create a seamless visual flow. By mirroring the exterior’s large-scale stone elements and linear precision, the indoor spaces feel grounded, calm, and deeply connected to the surrounding landscape.
The design logic prioritizes tactility and spatial freedom, ensuring that every room across both levels serves as a functional sanctuary for a modern lifestyle. Through the use of integrated architectural lighting and a deliberate lack of clutter, the home remains a canvas for light and shadow.
Social Space / Ground Floor
The entrance sets a tone of quiet strength, centered around the integrated lift to make the house accessible and towering stone-textured panels. We used a "brutalist-lite" approach to strip away visual noise, allowing the raw interplay of light and the clean lines of the transit core to guide the arrival experience.
A balance of scale and detail
Designed as the primary venue for formal gatherings, the living area utilizes an expansive open-plan layout to facilitate easy communication. The entry zone is defined by a pair of sculptural armchairs that offer a refined first impression.
The main seating area features a low-profile modular sofa arranged in a large circle to encourage conversation. This layout fills the expansive space perfectly, making it feel both grand and comfortable for large groups of guests.
The decor features oversized, organic vessels and textured wall art that serve as bold, sculptural focal points. These deliberate pieces complement the room's large scale while adding a tactile, human element to the clean architectural lines.
The Dining Core
The dining space is defined by a massive table that echoes the home’s structural language, creating a dedicated anchor for formal meals. Positioned to take full advantage of the double-height volume and the soft, ambient glow from recessed lighting, the area feels both grand and intimate.
By keeping the kitchen block entirely separate from the formal dining area, we preserved the home’s social atmosphere while creating a high-performance culinary zone. The design utilizes full-height cabinetry and a central island finished in the same stone-like textures found throughout the house, ensuring the room feels like a solid architectural volume rather than a utility space.
Guest Refreshment Area
The guest wash area is designed to prioritize visitor comfort, offering a dedicated space for refreshment that feels like a natural extension of the home’s hospitality. More than just a utility, it is a thoughtfully planned zone that ensures every guest feels considered and at ease.
Family & Rest / First Floor
The corridor acts as the central spine of the first floor, linking to private bedrooms and a terrace. It maintains the same minimalist aesthetic with clean lines and stone textures, serving as a quiet transition space.
The terrace offers a private outdoor extension for the family, shielded from the street by the building’s architectural volumes. It serves as a calm spot for relaxation, providing an immediate connection to the fresh air and the sky without leaving the house.
Private Comfort: Daily Living
This level features a second, more informal living and dining zone intended for daily family use. The layout is open and functional, with a compact dining table placed near the window for natural light and a seating area arranged for relaxation. The area is designed to be self-sufficient, allowing the family to dine and gather without needing to use the formal ground-floor rooms.
Located within the informal living zone, the kitchenette provides a functional station for light meals and drinks without needing to visit the ground floor. It is built directly into the wall with full-height cabinetry and integrated appliances to maintain clean lines and keep it visually compact.
Work & Rest Balance
The master bedroom is designed as an open space that balances rest and work zones. The room is connected to a walk-in closet with floor-to-ceiling storage to maintain a visible yet uncluttered environment.
The Guest Wing: A Hotel-Like Experience
This guest suite is designed as a complete, self-contained space featuring its own private walk-in closet and bathroom. To maintain a clean and organized aesthetic, the room uses integrated wood paneling and built-in storage that keeps the floor plan feeling open and spacious.
Private Outdoor Access
The second guest suite follows a similar functional layout, but adds a unique outdoor dimension. Large glass doors lead to a small terrace, offering guests a quiet spot for fresh air and a direct connection to the exterior. By using a dark, consistent material palette and streamlined cabinetry, the room balances modern architecture with a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere.
Active Recovery: From Movement to Rest
The gym is designed as a focused, high-performance space. Large windows provide natural light and views of the surrounding greenery, making the workout environment feel open and connected to the outdoors.
Directly adjacent, the spa room serves as a dedicated area for recovery and relaxation. By grouping the gym and spa together, we created a self-contained wellness wing that balances physical activity with quiet rest.
Multi-Functional Social Hub
This expansive zone is designed to host a variety of social interactions, featuring a grand formal dining table that accommodates twelve guests beneath linear architectural lighting.
