This project centers around designing a functional and aesthetically pleasing home tailored for a family with children. Our goal was to create alluring spaces that foster creativity and relaxation while reflecting the personalities and preferences of each family member. We carefully selected color schemes, materials, and layouts that promote a sense of harmony and balance.

Throughout the design process, we tackled challenges to fulfill the customer's requests, integrating storage solutions and maximizing natural light in every room. From the children's bedrooms to the bathrooms, we implemented practical elements to optimize space and minimize clutter.

Welcome home entry

As we enter the house the spiral staircase, highlighted by a custom chandelier appears as a striking home feature. We updated handrails with durable materials for easy maintenance, while a closet under the stairs provides hidden storage. This design balances functionality with minimalist elegance, enhancing the connection between the living room and upper levels.

The living room blends elegance and minimalism, with light colors setting the tone for a serene and sophisticated space. The open-plan layout, as requested by the homeowner, maximizes the room, allowing for natural light to fill the space. We also expanded windows to replace former walls, creating an airy, almost weightless feel to the design. The room's centerpiece is a grand piano that adds a touch of luxury.

A unique decorative partition made from metal and marble adds functionality and beauty, subtly dividing the space. This feature introduces an organic element, creating harmony between the modern aesthetic and the natural world outside. The space is free from unnecessary decor, focusing instead on clean lines and carefully selected materials.

Neat and natural living area

Moving from the entrance into the living area, the space opens up with a refined, minimalist design in a light palette. The white walls and furnishings create a cohesive environment that minimizes the impact of the irregular wall shapes and varying ceiling levels.

To complement the minimalist aesthetic, built-in wardrobes, and hidden doors provide ample storage without disrupting the sleek design. We carefully placed glass partitions to add a touch of nature, introducing greenery that softens the overall look and preserving the sense of openness and lightness.

Transitioning to the right of the living area, the dining space is now fully integrated to comfortably host 10-12 guests. We continued the use of white in both walls and furniture here, promoting a sense of continuity while helping to visually level the differences caused by the room’s multiple entrances — from the hall, kitchen, street, and bathroom.

The glass partitions with greenery offer a light, partial division between the dining and living spaces, ensuring privacy without compromising the open layout. This dining area exudes simplicity and elegance, forming a unified space that flows effortlessly from the living room, perfect for both everyday use and larger gatherings.

We designed the guest washroom next to the living room, with a minimalist yet luxurious approach. Light stone shades make the small space feel open, while dark accents add contrast. The centerpiece is a custom designer sink, blending functionality with elegance. The natural textures and refined materials create a sophisticated, understated atmosphere.

Bright and playful kids space

Next, we have the children’s room designed for two 9-year-old girls. We focused on modern design trends with a minimalist approach, using natural tones and bright accents. The room is functional and creative, featuring a wide work area for homework or drawing, a cozy sofa for relaxing, and cabinets for organizing their belongings.

The first floor entry

Moving up to the first floor, we are greeted by a striking chandelier that beautifully complements the spiral staircase. The hallway features elegant wood accents that add warmth to the space. This design creates a welcoming atmosphere, connecting the various areas of the home.

Inviting family living

The family living room is designed as a private, cozy retreat with beautiful garden views and direct access to the terrace. The goal was to create a space where the interior complements the natural surroundings, making the room feel connected to the outdoors.

We achieved this by using a modern minimalist design with natural, calming materials that foster relaxation. The room is furnished with comfortable yet sleek Minotti pieces that reflect the family’s modern lifestyle.

The dining area flows seamlessly from the living room, maintaining the same modern minimalism and use of natural materials. Above the dining table, we placed the Almendra fixture, which adds a subtle yet elegant touch to the space. This lighting choice enhances the dining experience, creating a warm atmosphere for family meals or gatherings.

The dining table is positioned to allow views of the garden, creating a connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. Natural light fills the room during the day, while the soft lighting sets a calming mood in the evenings.

Modern minimalism master block

We designed the master bedroom with a focus on modern minimalism, utilizing natural, light materials that evoke a sense of tranquility. Bright accents throughout the space add personality while keeping the overall aesthetic grounded.

A striking feature is the hanging partition resembling a fluted column, which serves both as a stylish divider and hidden storage. The integration of the hidden storage space within the partition helps maintain a clean, clutter-free environment, contributing to the serene atmosphere of the bedroom. This design achieves a balance between functionality and aesthetic appeal.

In the master bathroom, we continued the theme of modern minimalism with natural materials and light tones that create a refreshing atmosphere. The space is designed for comfort and luxury, featuring elegant Cea Design fixtures that complement the overall aesthetic.

Large window allows natural light to flood the room, enhancing the feeling of openness. We also incorporated smart storage solutions to keep the bathroom organized and functional, ensuring that everything is easily accessible yet out of sight.

The separate bathroom for him features a striking contrast to the home’s overall aesthetics, using dark tones that create a bold, masculine ambiance. Rich stone and warm wood accents come to create a unique space with a personal touch.

A functional child’s bedroom

In the girl's bedroom, we created a serene bed area with light, cool tones, and dark accents that promote a calming atmosphere. Light pastel shades on the walls and furniture harmonize beautifully, while classic molding behind the bed is a striking accent wall enhanced by carefully placed lighting. This elegant detail, as requested by the client, adds a unique touch to the overall design.

The work zone is functional and stylish, featuring a monochrome palette with shades from white to light gray. A desk with built-in drawers maximizes storage and minimizes clutter, while dark accent elements provide visual contrast. This design ensures a practical and inspiring workspace for studying and creativity.

Peaceful & efficient kid’s bedroom

In the next bedroom designed for two girls, we employed soft pastel tones complemented by dark accents. These calming colors promote relaxation, while the dark elements add depth and contrast, fostering a visually stimulating atmosphere that encourages creativity.

The layout incorporates hidden wardrobes, which save valuable floor space and reduce visual clutter. We chose facades in wall colors to make the storage units nearly invisible, merging them with the walls. This design creates a unified look, where the decorative panels behind the beds and the storage cabinets appear as one element.
